I spent the summer training every day at Victory Proformance. I came in feeling slow, out of shape, tight, and experiencing a lot arm pain. We got right to work and over time I began to see some big results and my body began feeling better and better. It was really easy to come in and bust my butt every day because of the atmosphere that is created at VP. When you come in to train you can really feel the positive and hard-working energy and really feel a sense of family with the people who train there. By the end of the summer I had gained 10 lbs and was being asked by friends and family how much weight I had lost due to my much leaner physique. I now have no arm pain and my fastball velocity is back up and continuing to improve over time. I just shattered my previous personal record on the 60 yd dash (7.9) with a 7.64. My body feels better than it ever has before, and I am more encouraged than ever to keep on grinding and getting better every day. As I said before, it is so much easier to bust my butt every day when I have the VP family creating that positive and hard-working environment, even when I am not in Miami training at the facility.
Pitcher at Christopher Columbus High School
I am a 2021 pitcher and student athlete at Christopher Columbus High School. Two years ago when I first started working out here , I was 5’5″, 110 lbs, and my fastball was topping at 71 mph and averaging 67-70mph. These past 6 months I have worked out my hardest, working for a varsity spot. I am now 5’10, 162lbs and my fastball was last topped out at 82mph and averaging from 77-80mph. I am glad on what I have accomplished and where I am. I plan on trying to work even harder to be the best I can be and Victory PROformance and Victor himself will help me accomplish that. There is no where better than VP and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. “Never say I can’t”.
LHP for Stetson University
I have been training with Victor since my junior year of high school and I have become a much better athlete as well as a better person while training with him. It is a fun environment where we can push each other and grow as athletes. When I got there, I really struggled with my flexibility, so we really focused on making myself a more flexible athlete while continuing to build strength the right way. Vic is constantly bringing in new equipment in to challenge us more and more every day. He pushes to get the most out of you and he loves what he does!
Catcher for Doral Academy Prep & South Florida Diamond Dusters
I am a sophomore at Doral Academy Preparatory. I am a catcher on the varsity team and I play for the South Florida Diamond Dusters. I started working out at Victory PROformance about a year ago and since then I have seen a tremendous amount of results both on and off the field. I am a lot stronger as well as more flexible. Vic is also an amazing coach and is a blast to work with. I personally, love to workout with him and I think anyone would.
P/OF at Belen Jesuit
When I started at Victory PROformance, I was 13 years old and tall for my age. In the next few years of working out with Victor, I’ve felt more confident in my abilities to throw harder, and hit the baseball farther. I was blessed with the opportunity to play varsity my freshman year, and I dedicate a lot of it to the hard work Victor helps me put in. As a baseball player, I feel like Victor and all the people who I workout alongside, have helped me grow closer to my dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. Throughout the years, Victor and my friends at Victory PROformance have truly helped me evolve as a baseball player and a better person with more passion for baseball and certainly for life.
Wide Receiver at Monsignor Edward Pace Highschool
I’ve been training at VP for 2 years now and it has brought my game to a new level. Coach has a specific plan for every single athlete he trains. Early in the evaluation process he determines you’re strength and weaknesses and works on it. Whether its agility day, strength and conditioning day, or a recovery day, I always walk out of VP as a better athlete. Training at VP has improved my athletic ability in all aspects possible.
My name is Amelia Varela, and I am a VP athlete that is recovering from an ACL tear. I started working out at Victory PROformance about 5 years ago, and this facility and trainers have prepared me to play at my peak performance for the years to follow. Unfortunately, this past spring, I tore my ACL in a freak softball collision. After having surgery and going through months of physical therapy, Victory PROformance was the first place that came to mind when I was getting ready to return to play. The focus, commitment, and attention to detail I have been receiving throughout my recovery is unmatched and very hard to find. “The proof is in the pudding”
